Medical, typing, Tasheel and Amer
The counter work that quietly consumes an employee's working day and an HR coordinator's week.
Tasheel centres process MOHRE labour transactions. Amer centres process Dubai immigration and residency transactions. Typing centres prepare and submit the applications that both require, and approved medical centres carry out the fitness test that residence visas depend on.
None of this is complicated individually. It becomes expensive when it is unscheduled, because each visit is a person out of the office and each rejection is a repeat visit.
What coordination actually saves
A single new hire typically involves a typing submission, a medical visit, a biometric appointment and at least one counter transaction. Run individually across a team of twenty, that is a meaningful amount of lost working time on top of the fees.
- Batched appointments, so a hiring round moves through medical and biometrics on scheduled days rather than one at a time
- Documents checked before the typing submission, since rejections at the counter are the most avoidable delay in the whole process
- Our representative attending in person for everything that does not legally require the employee
- Appointment confirmations sent to employees in writing, with the location, the time and what to bring
- Results tracked and chased, rather than waiting for the employee to report back

Express and standard options
Several transactions offer an expedited route at a higher government fee. We present both costs and let the company decide, rather than defaulting to the expensive option or quietly choosing the slow one. Where a deadline makes the express route the only sensible choice, we say so and show the difference in fee.
Counter services: practical questions
Does the employee have to attend the medical test in person?
Yes. Medical fitness screening requires the individual to attend an approved centre. What can be handled for them is the booking, the paperwork, the payment and the tracking of the result.
What causes a typing centre rejection?
Most often a document inconsistency: a name spelled differently across passport and contract, a photograph that does not meet specification, an expired supporting document, or a job title that does not align with the licensed activity. All of these are catchable before submission, which is why documents are reviewed first.
Is the express option worth the extra fee?
It depends on what the delay costs. For a visa needed before a fixed travel date or a client start date, usually yes. For a routine renewal handled with adequate lead time, rarely. The judgement belongs to the company, so both figures are put in front of it.
Can transactions be completed online instead of at a centre?
Many can, and the proportion increases as the authorities extend their portals. Some steps still require attendance, particularly medical and biometrics. Where an online route exists and is reliable, we use it.
